I'm calling this done...I know its been a while since I updated...but I've been using it as it is for a while as the logo and theme of my website for fantasy roleplay mapping...so check it out.

Would you believe I'm already re-rendering some changes? hehehe I decided to cut back on the bump of the paper a little, and I slid the paper back down closer to the wood since my shadows are fixed now. I'll be updating this image instead of posting a new one though.

bump map and the shadows off the parchment look good you softened the shadows in general too, looks good inkwell....red? -- Please check out [link] and comment, I love criticism!  for  hmmm...no...dark dark brown/red maybe...the glass is clear though...its just reflecting a lot of the red corona lighting from the background.
